Card design & production

You design the card; the system fills it in per person

The accreditation card is the face of the event, and every federation has its own rules. AccredZone imposes no template: you set the card size, the layout, the colours and the fields that get printed.

The designer

It works in millimetres, so printing holds no surprises

  • Millimetres, not screen pixelsThe card size and every element's position are stored in millimetres; zooming only changes what you see.
  • Any card sizeNo fixed aspect ratio is assumed — you define whatever size you print.
  • Drag-and-drop layoutPhoto, name, category band, unit name, zone strip, QR code and sponsor area are placed freely.
  • Front and backBoth faces live in one document and print either folded on a single sheet or as consecutive pages on a duplex printer.

Automatic content

Each person's own data lands at print time

Every field in the design is bound to a data source. At print time the name, photo, category, unit, zone rights and event-specific fields are read from that person's record.

  • A zone strip per personThe zone rights someone holds are printed side by side; a right they do not hold can be left blank, ghosted or hidden.
  • Hierarchical coloursThe unit name takes its colour from the person's own palette: unit first, then subcategory, then category.
  • Event-specific fieldsDynamic fields marked as usable on the card become selectable in the designer.

Card types

You are not limited to one kind of card

Personal accreditation card

Athletes, officials, press, VIP — the main accreditation card with templates per category, front and back.

Vehicle accreditation

Vehicle cards are printed with their own parameters and their own design; the rights come from the vehicle record.

Upgrade card

For cases needing temporary access to an extra zone, an upgrade card with a defined start and end time.

Custom cards

Free-standing cards not bound to a person record: invitations, parking cards, crew cards, ceremony cards. Their prints are logged separately.

Batch and single printing

The system produces print-ready PDFs; the output goes to standard card printers such as Evolis, Fargo/HID, Zebra and Matica.

QR codes and print logging

A unique QR on every card. When a print is confirmed the card identity is renewed and the old card stops working at the gate; prints and reprints are logged.
